My counselling practice is in the middle of the bustling market town of Morpeth, Northumberland. It has easy access to trains and buses from the surrounding areas. Such as Alnwick, Ashington, Blyth and Newcastle. I also practice from an office in Newcastle. I am Integrative counsellor, but my philosophy is in Person Centred counselling I integrate:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - This is effective for depression and anxiety

Solution Focused Therapy - Short term counselling looking at goals and solutions - not problems

Dream Therapy - The subconscious postcard to ourselves helping us to listen and learn about our sometimes hidden agendas

Motivational Interviewing - Used for all addictions

Anger Management - Looks at reasons, triggers and control of anger

I am also a qualified supervisor.


My passion is that everyone should reach their full potential. That means different things to different people. For some its how to get to the next day, for others its climbing Mount Everest. Whatever it is, counselling can help you deal with pain or behaviours that stop you moving forward.
